SILK LASH EMPIRE

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Silk Lash Empire handles information across the public website, salon client journey, event-interest campaigns, and SLE Lash Lab Academy or course activity.

Section 1 — Information we collect

Salon clients and prospective clients may provide information including name, email address, phone number, mailing or contact address, date of birth, booking information, service preferences, consultation and consent information, client check-in information, allergy or sensitivity history, and service-related health and safety information voluntarily provided because it may affect whether a lash or brow service can be performed.

Information clients provide may also include marketing preferences, optional photo or video permission, referral or source information when collected, communications, and service concerns. Silk Lash Empire is a salon, not a healthcare provider, and this information is used to make salon service and safety decisions rather than to diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Academy and course participants may provide contact and enrollment information, offer interest, self-reported license status, optional SMS-marketing consent, payment-related information, course selections, communications, and support requests.

People who submit interest in a possible Silk Lash Empire event may provide contact information, date and arrival preferences, estimated guest count, experience or vendor interests, complimentary-service interest, campaign attribution, and optional ongoing email-marketing consent.

When you use our website, we and our service providers may also collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, referring source, interactions, cookie preferences, and information used to maintain security and diagnose website performance.

Section 2 — How we use information

We may use information to:

  • provide salon services and Academy training

  • manage salon check-in, consultation, consent, service eligibility, bookings, purchases, and payments

  • confirm enrollment and purchased course packages

  • provide preparation details, receipts, support, and operational communications

  • evaluate interest in possible events and send requested event-specific updates

  • respond to questions and service concerns

  • maintain records, prevent fraud, and protect our website and business

  • improve website performance, advertising measurement, and client experience

  • send marketing email or SMS only when consent or applicable law permits

  • comply with tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations

Section 3 — Salon booking and check-in providers

Phorest is the salon booking, client, appointment, and service platform. Information entered while booking or managing a salon appointment is processed through Phorest under its own privacy and security practices.

Tally is used as a form and check-in service provider for salon client check-in information, including consultation, consent, service-related health and safety, and optional media-permission information submitted through that flow. Tally is not used to store payment-card information.

Section 4 — Payments and email activity

Stripe processes applicable payment transactions, including current Academy or course purchases. Silk Lash Empire does not receive complete payment-card numbers through the website. Stripe remains responsible for processing payment-card information under its own practices.

Brevo is used for current Course and Academy lead, buyer, and email activity. Salon consultation, client check-in, and service-related health and safety information is not sent to Brevo through the current website implementation.

Email delivery and communication providers may be used for requested event-related communications and certain operational Booking Completion Recovery emails. Submitting event interest does not by itself enroll a person in unrelated ongoing marketing; the separate marketing checkbox controls those reusable email topics.

Section 5 — How information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the business, including payment processors, booking platforms, email and SMS providers, website hosting and security providers, analytics and advertising platforms, customer-support tools, and professional advisers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, to investigate fraud or misuse, or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer.

We do not disclose information except for legitimate business purposes described in this policy or as permitted or required by law.

Section 6 — Website and measurement providers

Cloudflare hosts, delivers, and helps secure the website. Google Maps supplies the Contact-page map and directions experience. These providers may process device, request, usage, diagnostic, or security information under their own practices.

Current website measurement providers include Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and PostHog. They are used for selected website interactions, performance, campaign attribution, advertising measurement, and outbound booking intent. Website analytics and advertising tools are measurement systems; they do not determine whether a salon booking or Academy payment is complete.

On silklashempire.com, PostHog receives anonymous, cookieless, manually selected events using its server-hash mode. For that public website implementation, PostHog cookies, browser-storage persistence, Session Replay, autocapture, person profiles, console-log recording, and sensitive input capture remain disabled.

On booking.silklashempire.com, PostHog is used for selected booking interactions, performance, and campaign-attribution measurement only after the applicable CookieHub Analytics choice permits that measurement. After that choice, PostHog may use cookies or browser storage as part of its normal persistence. Selected Booking analytics may include a pseudonymous booking-attempt identifier and campaign source, medium, and campaign information to help Silk Lash Empire understand booking behavior and campaign performance. The pseudonymous identifier is not used as the client's identity. Silk Lash Empire does not intentionally include client name, email, phone, OTP information, Phorest identifiers, or health or safety information in these selected Booking analytics events. Person profiles remain disabled.

Section 7 — Cookies, analytics, and advertising choices

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preference management, analytics, attribution, and advertising measurement.

CookieHub presents cookie choices, remembers those choices, and communicates consent signals to enabled providers. When CookieHub's Consent Log is enabled, CookieHub may maintain a technical record of consent choices together with browser and other technical information, a unique consent token or identifier, and related consent timing for consent management and recordkeeping. On silklashempire.com, PostHog uses cookieless server-hash measurement independently of CookieHub. On booking.silklashempire.com, PostHog is enabled only after the applicable CookieHub Analytics choice permits analytics measurement and may then use cookies or browser storage as described above. Meta Pixel remains gated by Marketing consent in the website application, and the Google tag deployment continues to rely on CookieHub-managed Automatic Cookie Blocking and Google Consent Mode configuration rather than separate consent commands in the website code.

You can use the CookieHub controls shown on the website to accept, reject, or change non-essential technology choices. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect site functionality or measurement.

Section 8 — Browser privacy signals and activity across websites

The website does not currently respond directly to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Use the CookieHub controls and your browser’s cookie or tracking settings to manage the controls that are currently available.

Third-party analytics and advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to collect activity over time and across websites, subject to your available consent choices, browser controls, and those providers’ own practices.

Section 9 — Email and SMS choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the message.

SMS marketing is used only when explicit consent has been provided. You may opt out of SMS marketing using the instructions in the message. A phone number collected for booking, payment, support, or enrollment does not by itself create SMS marketing consent.

We may still send non-marketing messages reasonably necessary to process a transaction, provide a requested service, or respond to you.

If you request updates about a possible event, we may send communications specifically connected to that request even when you do not separately opt into ongoing promotional email topics.

Section 10 — Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and transaction records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Section 11 — Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

Requests may be subject to identity verification and legal exceptions. To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information below.

Section 12 — Children

The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Separate age and guardian requirements may apply to specific salon services. SLE Lash Lab enrollment is limited to adults age 18 or older.

Section 13 — Third-party websites

Our website may link to third-party services or websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Silk Lash Empire is not responsible for third-party websites that it does not control.

Section 14 — Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. Material changes are reflected through the current version and effective date posted on this page.
