SLE LASH LAB
SLE Lash Lab Course Policies
Approved plain-language terms for the August 2026 Private Group Class.
Owner-approved course terms
These are the approved SLE Lash Lab course terms for the August 23 and August 30, 2026 Private Group Class.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise. Where a specific exception below applies, that exception controls.
Owner approved; not represented as attorney-reviewed.
Course and named attendee
Enrollment is for one named attendee in the August 23 and August 30, 2026 SLE Lash Lab cohort. The attendee must be at least 18 years old.
Enrollment may not be transferred, resold, gifted, assigned, or substituted to another attendee.
Course dates and attendance
Day 1 is Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. Day 2 is Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.
Students must attend and meaningfully participate in both days to qualify for the certificate of completion. This limited cohort does not include guaranteed makeup classes.
Partial attendance does not create a refund, credit, transfer, makeup class, or certificate.
Late arrival
A student arriving more than 30 minutes late on either day may be unable to participate in all or part of that day at the instructors’ discretion.
Late arrival may result in missed practical work, inability to complete course requirements, or withholding of the certificate. It does not create a refund, transfer, credit, or makeup class.
Student cancellations
Course purchases are nonrefundable and nontransferable except where applicable law requires otherwise or where a specific SLE cancellation or schedule-change exception below applies.
A student cancellation does not create a cash refund, future-course credit, cohort transfer, seat substitution, or makeup class. This cohort is limited and SLE is not promising that another cohort will be offered.
No-shows
A no-show receives no refund, transfer, credit, makeup class, or certificate.
SLE cancellation
If SLE cancels the entire course, the buyer receives a full refund of amounts paid to SLE. No transfer to an unknown future cohort is promised.
SLE schedule changes before Day 1
If SLE materially changes the course schedule before Day 1 begins, the buyer may accept the revised schedule or receive a full refund.
SLE changes after Day 1
If Day 1 has occurred and SLE materially changes or cancels Day 2, the buyer may accept the revised Day 2 date or receive a refund equal to 50% of the course enrollment amount paid to SLE.
If the optional kit has already been distributed, the kit portion is not part of the 50% course refund unless applicable law requires otherwise or SLE expressly approves otherwise.
Minimum enrollment
The minimum enrollment is two students. If fewer than two students enroll, SLE may postpone the course by approximately one or two weeks.
Each enrolled student may accept the revised dates or receive a full refund. No transfer to a different unknown future course is promised.
Payment methods and financing
Stripe processes payment. Eligible customers may be offered Klarna, Afterpay, Link, cards, wallets, or other methods selected by Stripe.
Availability, approval, repayment terms, installment schedules, interest, late fees, and financing eligibility are determined by the payment provider. SLE does not guarantee financing approval.
An approved refund from SLE is processed through the applicable payment provider and remains subject to that provider’s processing timeline.
Taxes
Applicable taxes are calculated at secure Stripe Checkout. Sales tax may apply to the physical training kit.
The course and kit are separately identified for payment and tax purposes.
License status
The course is open to beginners. Prior lash experience is not required. Live-model participation has a separate eligibility requirement.
An active California esthetician or cosmetology license is required for live-model eligibility. Self-reporting a license during Checkout does not equal verification.
License verification must be completed at least 48 hours before Day 2.
Live-model participation
A verified eligible student normally brings their own live model. SLE may assist with sourcing a live model only when separately arranged in writing, and SLE does not guarantee that it can supply a model.
Models must be at least 18 years old and must sign the required model consent and service acknowledgment.
The instructors may refuse or stop live-model participation because of irritation, infection, contraindications, unsafe conditions, sanitation concerns, model behavior, or another legitimate safety concern.
If a model cancels, is absent, is rejected, or cannot safely participate, the student completes practical work on mannequin or training-eye materials. That substitution does not create a refund.
Mannequin or training-eye path
Students who are not verified as live-model eligible use mannequin or training-eye materials. Completing this path does not convert the certificate into professional licensure.
Training kit
The optional training kit includes the published items below. Specific brands, exact quantities, curls, diameters, lengths, and sizes are not guaranteed unless separately published in writing.
SLE may substitute products with comparable function and value when inventory changes. The kit is distributed on Day 1.
Students must inspect the kit on Day 1. Missing or visibly defective items must be reported to an instructor before the student leaves on Day 1. Opened or used kits are nonreturnable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
- Tweezer set
- Lash trays
- Lash adhesive
- Primer
- Eye patches
- Glue ring
- Lash tape
- Lip wands
- Spoolies
- Lash shampoo
- Mannequin
- Circle lash-training sponges
Course-only students
Students who choose the course-only option must bring every item listed in the published training-kit contents.
Failure to bring required materials may limit participation and does not create a refund, transfer, credit, or makeup class.
Certificate of completion
Students who successfully complete the required course participation receive a Silk Lash Empire certificate of completion.
This certificate is not a California professional license, State Board certification, State Board educational credit, accredited education, eligibility for a licensing examination, authorization to perform regulated services, or a guarantee of employment, clients, income, or business success.
Class conduct and safety
SLE may remove a student from the course for serious or repeated misconduct. Removal for serious misconduct does not create a refund, credit, transfer, makeup class, or certificate, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
- Harassment or discriminatory behavior
- Threats, violence, intoxication, or impairment
- Unsafe technique or refusal to follow sanitation instructions
- Deliberate disruption or unauthorized recording
- Misuse of models, products, or equipment
- Illegal conduct or repeated refusal to follow instructor safety directions
Recording and course materials
Students may not audio record or video record the class without written SLE permission.
Course manuals, slides, demonstrations, templates, handouts, and other course materials may not be reproduced, resold, uploaded publicly, redistributed, republished, or used to create or deliver another training program.
Students may use the knowledge learned for their own lawful professional development, subject to licensing requirements.
Photography and media
Promotional photo or video consent is optional. A student is not required to grant promotional media rights in order to enroll or participate. Any promotional student media release must be separate and optional.
Live models must have a separate model consent. Any promotional model media release must also be separately and clearly presented.
Post-course support
The course includes 30 days of course-related email support beginning after Day 2. Contact [email protected]. The target response time is within two business days.
Support is limited to reasonable clarification of material taught in the course. It does not include unlimited coaching, emergency support, legal advice, licensing advice, medical advice, or guaranteed business consulting.
Remote group Q&A
The course includes one remote group Q&A through Zoom or Google Meet. The session will be scheduled within 30 days after Day 2, and the exact date will be announced during Day 2 or shortly afterward.
Missing the Q&A does not create a refund or replacement private session.
Accommodations
Accommodation requests should be submitted to [email protected] at least seven days before Day 1.
SLE will consider reasonable accommodations in good faith where they do not fundamentally alter the hands-on course requirements, compromise safety, or create an undue burden.
Governing law and venue
The policy is governed by applicable California law. Any court proceeding that is properly brought relating to this course should be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires another venue.
Severability
If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
